Privacy Policy

The short version
The acronym generator runs entirely in your browser. Words and phrases you type are processed on your device and are never sent to our servers. We have no accounts, no sign-up, and nothing to store.
What we don't collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store the content you generate. There are no contact forms that harvest personal data and no user accounts. The analytics and advertising described below do not identify you personally.
Local storage
The site saves a single preference in your browser's local storage: your light/dark theme choice (key ag-theme). It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which tools are popular and how pages are found. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) that assign a random, anonymous identifier to your browser, and it may process your IP address and device information. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with other data. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google processes this data.
Advertising
This site is supported by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices. Visitors from the EEA, UK, and Switzerland will be shown a consent message where required.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
